En punto / o'clock Son las tres en punto - It's three o'clock.	...y cuarto / quarter past Son las cuatro y cuarto - It's quarter past four.	...y media / half past Son las dos y media - It's half past two.

...menos cuarto quarter to -Son las seis menos cuarto -It's quarter to six.	y...(minutos) (minutes) past -Son las tres y cinco -It's five past three.	menos...(minutos) (minutes) to -Son las cuatro menos cinco -It's five to four.

In Spanish, a watch or a clock is called a RELOJ.

To ask the time, say ¿Qué hora es?

The time is divided into HORAS, MINUTOS y SEGUNDOS

Un día (a day) has 24 horas.

¡Watch out!        Es = singular , son = plural
     - Es la una en punto, es la una y cuarto.... etc.
but...
     - Son las dos en punto, son las dos y cuarto...
     - Son las tres en punto, son las tres y cuarto...
etc.

Some colours have a masculine or a feminine gender depending on the nouns that go with them.

     - El coche es amarillo - The car's yellow.
     - La lámpara es amarilla - The lamp's yellow.
    - El sofá es rojo - The sofa's red.
    - La butaca es roja - The armchair's red.

However, other colours (for example: verde, azul, marrón) do not change gender.

    - El libro es verde - The book's green.
    - La calculadora es verde - The calculator's green.
    - El reloj es azul - The clock's blue.
    - La mesa es azul - The table's blue.
